Everton has been enjoying a successful league campaign so far as they are on the top 5 spots of the Premier League even ahead of teams like Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The head coach Roberto Martinez wants to keep the momentum and positive results rolling on with new arrivals.

The club is already linked with the winger of Spartak Moscow Aiden McGeady who has had problems and feuds with the Russian club and now is uncertain if he will be finishing his time with Spartak when the contract expires in the summer or if he makes a move away from the club in January.

Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu is a target of Everton but Liverpool are also interested in signing the midfielder of Udinese, as it now becomes a race on who can sign him up faster or offer a better bid for the player.

Hull City’s Curtis Davies has been a sensational performer for the Premier League club in this season which sparked an interest in the defender that Hull managed to sign for just £2.25million as he made a switch from Birmingham to Hull City and at that price was a bargain considering the impact Davies has made since making his way into the team.

Roberto Martinez had initially tried on signing him back when he was in charge of Wigan but failed on doing so and once more is interested in signing him up but it does not appear as if Martinez will be able to do so after Hull already stated that they have no intentions on selling him.

Everton has already claimed victories against Chelsea and Manchester United in this season which is why some players and fans are seriously considering Everton to be title contenders.

Romelu Lukaku is a player that is enjoying an exceptional time in Everton but it is rather questionable if he alone can push the team into higher spots of the Premier League. Arouna Kone is injured and Nikica Jelavic is not a consistent performer.

The attacking department is probably the area that Everton need to strengthen more if they want to continue their charge at the top spots of the league and Martinez knows it.
