NO CONTAC FOR MOYES

Everton manager David Moyes has confirmed that he has received no official contact from Tottenham regarding him taking over the vacant managerial job at the London club.

Everton manager David Moyes is regarded as one of the firm favourites for the job, which was only recently occupied by Harry Redknapp. However, former Portsmouth manager has now been relieved of his duties after falling out with the chairman Daniel Levy. It is thought that the vision of Harry Redknapp and Daniel Levy was at exactly the same in recent seasons. Scot David Moyes has done an extraordinary job at Everton, where he has recently completed 10 years in charge of the club.

However, it is thought that David Moyes would be interested in a new challenge where he will be able to spend some money. It has been a very tough position for him at Everton where there are extremely low funds available for bringing in new players. Still, Moyes has been able to get the best out of the players. In many ways, Everton have overachieved in recent seasons under David Moyes. It is thought that Tottenham are interested in bringing David Moyes as a replacement for Harry Redknapp, but he is not the only candidate they are interested.

"I hope to meet all my ambitions at Everton but you never know in this game. I've had no contact. I'm ambitious and I want to try to win things and ideally I want to do that with Everton. We brought in two or three players in January and you could see the difference it made to the club, so we want to try and do that again. I told my chairman four weeks ago [that money was needed to compete] so for me my concentration is on getting Everton ready for the start of the season," said David Moyes.
