Falcao wants to bring victory to United

New Manchester United signing Radamel Falcao says that he wants to bring goals and victories to his new club. The Colombian international was signed on transfer deadline day on a season long loan. United have had to go to massive lengths even for a loan deal. They had to come up with a £ 6 million loan fee in addition to paying the full wages of Falcao, who will cost £ 18 million per season just in wages. United will also have to come up with several bonuses and image rights during the process.
United spending such a massive amount of money on a player who is 28 years old and has just recovered from a massive knee injury would not have happened a few years ago. However, the club is in a desperate situation in order to get out of the trouble. Even the arrival of Louis van Gaal has failed to arrest the slide that started after the resignation of Sir Alex Ferguson. United are without a victory in the first four matches of the new season and they are already out of the League Cup. This leaves the club with just two competitions to aim for this campaign. Falcao, who was recently seen on international duty with Colombia, said that he is ready to score many goals for United.
“For me it is amazing. I am very happy. I hope to give my team the best and help to bring a lot of goals and victories. I think I have lived this week very intensely. It hasn’t been the most comfortable week to work in, with all of the changes, but I have lived it like a kid. I have had the same feeling as when I debuted for the national team. It was very exciting and special and I enjoyed being back. I now leave in a very good condition to join my club and I hope to be available next week,” said Falcao.
